I was overcharged for the books I have already paid

I have purchased three books from Barnes and Noble on 8th September, amounting to $75.94( the first two for 48.95 and the rest for the third pre-order book) out of which one book was a pre-order item. I have already paid the full amount and have some left in my card. The billing was done and shipment for the first two books has started. But today(9th September) I saw that my card was overcharged with $50.75 Which means that I have been charged twice for the first 2 books. I don't understand why they did it. The whole amount was deducted during the payment on 8th September and then again on 9th september again my card was overcharged.
I want my overcharged amount back as I have already paid it once. Barnes and Nobles never did this before, I don't know what happened. I hope to get this issue fixed quickly as possible

I was at the Yonkers Barnes and Noble…

I was at the Yonkers Barnes and Noble Cafe in the afternoon after a trip. I ordered coffee and a roll ,when I turned to pick up my warmed up item my bank card disappeared ,This is the second time it has happened in this store but this time I had no cash .I can't get to the bank to replace the card without using Amtrack .The cafe here is often quite rude to people they dont like ,

Wasting money to purchase from Barnes & Noble

I am a member of Barnes & Nobel. I purchased many books but recently I found buying books from Barnes and Noble is a waste of money. Recently I ordered a book "Purpose Driven church" by Rick warren. The cost of the book is $28.99. I checked online and many book sellers including Amazon for the same book for $12.99, and another bookseller $24.30. I ask the manager and cashier at Eagan, MN Barnes and novel to match the price and refused. As a member I paid for the same book 27.95. I wasted $14.96. Think before you purchase and watch your saving. As a Barnes and Nobel member they should have to match at least the $24.30. I am done never to buy from this book seller.

I got robbed and lied to by Barnes & Noble website. I ordered three books because I had the impression that since it said "express" delivery option would get the merchandise in 2 business days. Next thing I get a message saying the "inventory changed unexpectedly". THey stole my money (shipping costs) and I will no longer go online to these thieves. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH BARNES & NOBLE ONLINE!!!! EVER!!! Thieves.

I went to the warwick ri store spent 210 dollars on books I then went to the cafe to get a drink the guy there his name was Carl he was the most ignorant and rude person I have ever met I ordered my drink he was cocky had an aditude because of that I will be taking back my books back and making sure my family and friends never shop there again he had no personality and should not be dealing with the public I am writing this now because I tried to forget this encounter that happened last week but I couldn’t I felt you should know about this so you know that he is a negative to your business hopefully you will do somthing about this poor excuse for customer service you have working for you.I’m sure I’m not the first person who has felt this with him and his additude

One Step Closer. Jeff Blue

This book is amazing. The way Jeff tells the story in such a detail. It made me feel like I was in the room with him. A very inspiring story about the rise of Linkin Park and how Jeff played such a big part in making their success a reality. If you love Linkin Park. If You love rock music. This is a story you don't wanna miss. I would pick it up today!

Online ordering is a HASSLE

Honestly, I usually order books from Amazon. It’s just easy. I decided to throw business Barnes & Noble’s way and it’s a hassle. I entered my name, my address, my phone number, and my email address. I gave them my credit card number including the security code. I got an email from my credit card company saying B & N has charged $45 to your card. Three hours later I get this from B & N: “We're sorry, but we are unable to fulfill your recent Order # as it did not pass our order verification process. Not to worry, you will not be charged for this order.” I don’t need this. I went back to Amazon and bought the books.

DO NOT ORDER ONLINE!

Where do I even begin? B&N online is the absolute worst! Their website is terrible. I paid 10.00 for express shipping to my friend for her birthday. The website said it takes 2-4 business days. I ordered on Tuesday and now the UPS tracking says it will be delivered 7 DAYS FROM THE ORDER DATE. The agents on the chat feature are horrible -- rude, stupid, and do not care about customers. I called the 800 number and like all customer service departments these days, nobody speaks English and if they do, it's broken, obnoxious, and rude. Their customer service department is outsourced in India, so there you go! I HAVE BEEN A LOYAL CUSTOMER TO THE BARNES & NOBLE BRICK & MORTAR STORES, BUT NOW, AFTER THIS HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE, I WILL NEVER SPEND ANOTHER DIME! I SHOULD HAVE GONE WITH AMAZON IN THE FIRST PLACE.

Great Selection, Terrible Quality Items

I was so excited to receive my order of four books from Barnes and Noble. I was disappointed though, when I opened the box. Each of the four books was torn up and ripped. I very seriously could have received better condition books used. I can at least return my books to a store, but my shipping won't be refunded. I don't think I'll be ordering online from Barnes and Noble again. First and last time for me, which stinks.

Worst experience ever

Stupid website, orders cancelled and only thing I can do to solve this problem is to CALL the Sales team in the US for "account security reasons". Never had such a complicated and bad experience to order a simple epub book...
